Wall & Emerson, Inc. is now a client publisher of the University of Toronto Press. Accordingly we now follow the order and returns policies established by the University of Toronto Press. These may be viewed by following this link. In short, customers order our books directly from the University of Toronto Press, just as they would books published by the University of Toronto Press or any of its other client publishers, so long as you know the title of the publication and its ISBN.

The U of T Press ships world-wide. Orders from individuals must always be prepaid, with a credit card or other means. Institutional customers with an account with the U of T Press order as they usually would. Overseas institutions must prepay their orders.

For convenience, we include an order form on this site which may be sent to the U of T Press by fax, mail, or as an email attachment.

• Retail bookstores: 30 days
• Wholesalers: 90 days (Wholesaler status is determined in part by sales volume)|

Outside North America
• Payment must accompany orders. Cheques must be drawn on a Canadian or US bank.
• Visa, MasterCard, and international money orders are accepted.

Discount policy

Wall & Emerson generally follows the same discount policy as that of UTP’s own imprint. Most of our books are designated for the College discount category, which commands a base discount from list price of 22%. A very few items are marked for Trade discount of 40%.

Within each of these base classifications, discounts vary according to customer classification, quantity ordered. At present all of our titles are returnable, following UTPs general rules for returns.
